'A beautiful soul ...gone too soon'

A MOTHER shot dead in a suspected gangland attack was lauded yesterday as a "beautiful soul" who had no connections to organised crime.

Lianne Gordon, 42, was killed in an assault which left a 20-year-old man and youth of 16 in hospital with gunshot wounds.

Scotland Yard detectives were investigating whether the incident in Hackney, East London, was connected to armed gangs in the capital.

But mum-of-two Lianne's friends rushed to distance her from the gun crime scourge which has claimed dozens of lives across London.
