£51k for farmer held over fatal shooting of burglar

A FUNDRAISER to meet the legal costs of a farmer arrested after allegedly shooting a burglar dead at his remote farmhouse had last night reached more than £51,000.
The online page was set up as dairy farmer Rob Lomas was bailed after being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The GoFundMe says it is supporting a man who "works relentlessly in all weathers, but always makes time for a brew and a friendly humorous chat".
