5,000 steps a day 'slows' Alzheimer's

WALKING for more than 5,000 steps a day could slow the buildup of two proteins linked to Alzheimer's disease, research suggests.
Data was analysed from 294 people aged 50 to 90 who had amyloid and tau proteins in their brains - which can indicate the illness but were not showing symptoms.
