6 Arrested, Phones Smuggled Abroad

In a major crackdown, JJ Marg Police have busted an interstate mobile theft gang, arresting six accused who allegedly stole phones from crowded areas and smuggled them to countries like Bangladesh, Nepal and Thailand.

Shockingly, the gang leader revealed that over 500 expensive mobile phones had already been sent abroad through their network.

Acting under the guidance of DCP Praveen Munde, police launched a special operation after receiving multiple complaints of mobile thefts in busy parts of the city.
