KFC apology after post 'mocking' Welsh woman

|November 27, 2025
FAST-FOOD giant KFC has apologised after one of its official social media accounts posted a video which appeared to mock a Welsh woman's stammer.
-
The clip featured influencer Jessie Yendle, from Pontypridd, who has always lived with a stammer and now has more than 3.5 million subscribers on Tik Tok after spending years raising awareness of speech impediments.
In the video, she is shown struggling to pronounce a sound, then it transitions into a dance track with a range of KFC products being shown on screen.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Jessie said the video, which she said was seen more than four million times before it was deleted, “breaks my heart”.
