Appeal as injured man found on train

POLICE are investigating after a man was found seriously injured on a train in Cheshire.

At about midnight on Saturday, June 21, a train guard on a Shrewsbury to Crewe service came across a man who had boarded the train with head and facial injuries.
The 69-year-old man was escorted off the train at Crewe and was taken to hospital.
