Your Saint Nicked! Police all dressed up in crackdown

POLICE in the region have been taking festive measures in a crackdown on Christmas shoplifting.
This time of year traditionally comes with a spike in retail theft, so Warwickshire Police have gone under cover to try and tackle it.
Dressed as Father Christmas and an elf, a pair of sergeants took to the region's popular shopping destinations to catch would-be thieves in the act. The plan resulted in a bunch of arrests as well as a chance to spread some Christmas spirit.
