THREE-DAY CITY PAGANISM AND WITCHCRAFT FESTIVAL CASTS SPELL ON THOUSANDS
MORE than 3,000 people flocked to a unique festival for witches and pagans that saw its biggest event yet in its four-year history.
Firewalking, a world peace ritual, a Witches’ ball and a Viking feast were all on the agenda for the three-day festival, which happened over the Bank Holiday weekend in Fillongley near Coventry.
The Festival for Pagans and Witches, held at the Heart of England Conference Centre, was initially founded by witches from Coventry in a bid to remove the taboo around their beliefs and lifestyle.
It has since grown in popularity, attracting visitors from across the UK including experienced witches as well as people interested in learning more about witchcraft and paganism.
