FRANK Lampard says he “can't wait” to start making use of summer signing Kaine Kesler-Hayden - a player whom the head coach revealed he personally pushed to bring to Coventry City.
The Sky Blues paid Aston Villa a reported £3.5 million for the fullback who arrived at the CBS Arena as an established Championship performer, having spent last season at Preston North End where he was named player of the year.
However, although the 22-year-old impressed in preseason he’s yet to start a league game for City as first choice Milan van Ewijk - who was hotly tipped for a summer move — continues to enjoy good form.
