NEW STUDENT ACCOMMODATION DUBBED ‘EXCESSIVE'

A PLAN for a huge new Coventry dual student accommodation has been dubbed 'excessive and unjustified'.

- By CLAIRE HARRISON

We previously reported the proposal for a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) of up to 400 bed spaces to be built on land close to the University of Warwick's core campus, to the south of Westwood Heath Road.

But locals say that the PBSA is an 'excessive and unjustified building'.

They say that the city council needs to put the brakes not only on the plan on the university site but other proposals to repurpose student accommodation into PBSA.
