CEO PRAISES 'HARD WORK' OF STAFF DURING 'DIFFICULT TIME'
COVENTRY car giant Jaguar Land Rover has reported a fall in revenue and profitability for the second quarter of the 2025/26 financial year - its first public update of this kind since the devastating cyber attack that halted production and brought its supply chain to its knees.
It comes amid a turbulent year for the company, which has also seen them grappling with tariffs imposed by US president Donald Trump and the planned wind down of older Jaguar models. The company recorded revenue of £4.9bn for the quarter to 30 September - down 24 per cent on the same period last year.
First-half revenue stood at £11.5bn, a 16 per cent year-on-year decrease.
Alarmingly JLR posted a pretax loss of £485m for the quarter, compared with a £398m profit a year ago.
