Have faith in Credo at Sandown

Gustavian is one of three Anthony Honeyball runners in the Veterans Chase

CREDO can take a starring role at Sandown in the Unibet Veterans’ Handicap Chase today.

The 11-year-old is one of three runners for Anthony Honeyball with stablemate Gustavian looking the more likely contender following his victory in the Badger Beers Chase at Wincanton back in November - a race in which Credo was beaten 12-and-a-half lengths in third conceding 5lb to the winner.

Honeyball also runs outsider Blackjack Magic.

Gustavian was hiked 8lb for that admittedly impressive win while Credo actually lines up off 2lb lower here having suffered another defeat in the interim, when upped in distance to just short of three miles and six furlongs in open company at Ascot.
