SKY BLUES DETERMINED TO GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS IN ST ANDREW'S CLASH

Every player loves derby day - Simms

Frank Lampard salutes the fans at the final whistle at Charlton

ELLIS Simms insists everyone in the Coventry City squad is excited by the prospect of heading into a high pressure derby day clash at Birmingham tomorrow.

The striker says the Sunday showdown at St Andrew’s is the sort of occasion to bring out the best in every player playing a derby in front of a hostile crowd, roared on by their own fans from the Sky Blue Army.

Simms scored in the New Year's Day draw at Charlton Athletic but the Sky Blues returned to the Midlands with a degree of frustration after being held to a draw.
