COVENTRY has been named as one of the areas with the highest number of sex attacks in the West Midlands.

Assaults have reportedly spiked in St Michaels.
Birmingham recorded the highest number of offences at 4,597, followed by St Michaels in Coventry with 1,015. Data showed an increase in rapes and sexual offences reported to West Midlands Police, yet a decline in those charged.
