CHESTER PUT THE BRAKES ON RUN OF VICTORIES

BACK-TO-BACK cup wins counted for nothing as Leamington suffered a 2-0 defeat at Chester in National League North.

The Brakes headed to the Deva Stadium fresh from victories in the FA Trophy and Birmingham Senior Cup but they were soon trailing toa Dylan Mottley-Henry seventh minute opener.

Pat Jones doubled the lead with a curling effort on 18 minutes and although there was plenty of effort from the visitors, they were unable to find the net, making it ten without a win in the league.

Stratford Town ended a six-match winless run in the Southern League Premier Central with a 2-1 win at home to East Anglian visitors Leiston.
