Big queues for new city restaurant

A FRIED chicken fan called Tarzan queued for 11 hours to be the first to try new Popeyes drive-thru in Coventry.

Fried chicken fans queued as early as midnight to be among the first to try the food at a brand new Coventry drive-thru.

Popeyes opened its first Coventry restaurant at the Arena shopping park at 11am on Monday, December 8.

The launch has created 67 jobs and marks the 45th Popeyes opening in the UK this year. Fans queue from 12am the night before to get a taste of the world-famous Chicken Sandwich.
