£1.2m investment in Coventry to help boost communities

COVENTRY Building Society has pledged a generous £1.2 million donation to bolster Coventry communities and enhance the prospects of the city's most disadvantaged residents.

As the Chancellor outlined the national financial plan on Budget Day, the Society is stepping up locally to equip individuals of all ages with the necessary skills and support to manage their finances confidently.

The substantial donation will be distributed among over 100 organisations, encompassing primary and secondary schools, youth groups, foodbanks, social supermarkets, elderly assistance, Citizens Advice, Central England Law Centre, Age UK, and aid for the city's homeless population.
