Success for farm business
Cornish Guardian (Newquay & North Coast)
|June 11, 2025
THE owners of a Cornwall farm say meat sales have risen by 30% amid surging demand for sustainable produce.
-
Will and Kate Martin run Treway Farm in St Austell, which rears short-horn beef cattle and turkeys.
The couple say planting trees and herbal leys has increased the diversity of species in its pastures and improved both the health of the cattle and the environment.
In December their sustainable farming methods were recognised at the Great Cornish Food Awards, with the couple taking home the Farming for the Future title.
