The arrest of Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe and and his co-accused Tobias Mugabe Matonhodze has once again highlighted the deep-rooted problem of crime in South Africa and the brazenness of people from other countries.

- THULANI MAGAZI Igumbi lomhleli /Editor's Corner

They simply have no regard for our laws or look down at our security as a nation.Chatunga, who is the youngest son of former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and Grace Mugabe, has been residing in the country for several years. He probably spent most of his life in South Africa, living a lavish lifestyle at Hyde Park, Johannesburg, oblivious to the challenges and laws of his native country.

Zimbabwe is one of the struggling nations on the African continent and thousands of Zimbabweans have flocked over our borders in search of a better life.

While Chatunga's father has been hailed for Zimbabwe's freedom and success, he is also to blame for many of the challenges faced by his people today. Chatunga (28) should know this although he must have been a lot younger when Zimbabwe's economy began to crumble. However, most of the laws and rules introduced under his father's reign are still applicable.
