THE ladies played two games in the Wild League this past week.

They firstly travelled to Prattens, where wins on all three rinks gave Wells an overall win by 60-31 to earn all 12 league points.
Rink scores: L Sykes, P Green, J Rossiter 23 shots (Prattens 11); A Churches, E Morley, H Willerton 16 shots (Prattens 7); C Jenner-Timms, C Skeates, A Midwinter 21 shots (Prattens 13).
In the second, Street visited City of Wells and the in-form hosts managed to win a tough game on all three rinks. The 58-34 success saw Wells gain another maximum haul.
Rink scores: A Churches, E Morley, H Willerton 25 shots (Street 9); L Sykes, P Green, J Rossiter 16 shots (Street 12); C Gadd, A Midwinter, C Skeates 17 shots (Street 13).
The men’s latest game in the Mid Somerset League was also at home to Street. The visitors proved too strong on this occasion though as Street won on all three rinks and by 57-31.
Rink scores: P Henry, M Strudwick, F Rossi, A Whitehead 13 shots (Street 17); J Manvill, E Norris, M Rawle, A Wickham 7 shots (Street 20); T Collingwood, G Howell, C Higgins, A Denning 11 shots (Street 20).
In the Somerset County League, City of Wells’ men played at home against Bloomfield A. Although Wells only won on one rink, the shot difference covered the losses on the other two to win the game overall by just six shots - 59-53. They earned a valuable eight league points.
Rink scores: G Howell, M Strudwick, F Rossi, A Whitehead 17 shots (Bloomfield A 19); J Manvill, T Collingwood, M Rawle, A Wickham 29 shots (Bloomfield 11); J Rossiter, P Kirk, D Bishop, A Denning 13 shots (Bloomfield 23).
