: In a nail-biting encounter at the Police Turf Wicket Ground in Jakaram village, the Mulugu team clinched a sensational one-wicket victory over Hanumakonda on the second day of the United Warangal District Cricket Team Selection Tournament.Organized under the aegis of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) and the Warangal District Cricket Association (WDCA), the ongoing tournament witnessed high-octane action as teams from across the erstwhile Warangal district vied for top honours. Today’s match was formally inaugurated by Dhanasari Surya, State Secretary of the Congress Youth Wing and son of Telangana Panchayati Raj Minister Smt. Dhanasari Seethakka, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Hanumakonda posted a modest total of 124 runs in 43.2 overs.
