The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the main opposition in Telangana, has accused the ruling Congress government of driving the state's economy into crisis through poor governance and financial mismanagement.

Citing alarming findings in the latest CAG report, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) said Telangana’s growth is sharply declining under Congress rule. “A failed Congress government results in a failed economy,” KTR declared, adding that the party promised six guarantees but delivered only “a collapsing economy.”
