Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today announced that the state government is ready to sanction crores of rupees for the development of the Sammakka-Saralamma temple at Medaram.

Addressing a public meeting after reviewing the temple development plan, the Chief Minister said the initiative is not merely a responsibility but an emotional commitment.
Revanth Reddy recalled that with the blessings of Sam-makka and Saralamma, he had launched his padayatra from Medaram on February 6, 2023, a movement that later paved the way for the formation of the “people's government’ in Telangana.
He stressed that tribals, the original inhabitants of the land, will be made equal partners in every stage of the temple’s development, along with priests and traditional families.
