Ration shops to be converted into Mini Malls in future: Min. Nadendla

Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar has said that the Ration shops would be converted into Mini Malls in the future, keeping in view the need for safeguarding the public health.

Inaugurating the distribution of essential commodities through the ration shops at Vakalapudi in Kakinada rural constituency here on Sunday, he said, since morning within four hours itself 8.15 lakhs families were supplied ration commodities through 29,761 ration shops state wide. He said the ration commodities were being distributed at the fair price shops to ensure transparency in the public distribution system.
