As the Narendra Modi-led NDA government marked the first anniversary of its third-term on Monday, BJP National President JP Nadda described the economic and social strides in India under the Prime Minister's leadership as achievements that will be remembered in “golden letters".
-
Speaking at a press conference at the BJP headquarters, Nadda said, “The work done under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership over the past 11 years has been exceptional and deserves to be inscribed in golden letters in the annals of history.”
The BJP-led government also completed 11 years in office on Monday, having first come to power in 2014. Prime Minister Modi was sworn in for a third consecutive term on June 9, 2024.
Calling the Modi Government "a people-led government", Nadda highlighted the transformation witnessed over the past decade.
He said, “India has undergone a remarkable transformation under PM Modi. He has reshaped the country's political ethos. Previously, politics was often centered on appeasement and power retention. Today, the Modi government stands as a people-driven administration.”
