Introduction of Modern DGPS Land Survey System - Mechanism Established for Land Rights Disputes

District Collector Muzammil Khan stated that the newly introduced RORBhu Bharati Act by the Government of Telangana will play a pivotal role in resolving longstanding landrelated issues.

He addressed this at the Telangana Bhu Bharati Act2025 Revenue Conference held at Rythu Vedika, Mujju gudem village in Nelakonda palli Mandal.

Participating in the event were Addl Collector P Srinivas Reddy, Telangana Agriculture Farmers Welfare Association members, and Advocate Sunil.

The Collector highlighted that land disputes can only be resolved effectively when land boundaries, measurements, and locations are clearly established. The government's focus on introducing a comprehensive land survey under the Bhu Bharati Act supports this initiative.

The land survey, last conducted during the Nizam period between 1910 and 1930, will now be modernized using DGPS technology, and surveyors will be assigned to every village for accurate land demarcation.
