Manipur: Arms, ammunition recovered in security operations

Security forces in Manipur continue their intensified operations across fringe and vulnerable areas of the state, leading to multiple seizures of illegal arms, ammunition, and military gear during the last 24 hours.

Police today said as part of these efforts, one individual was arrested from the Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai area under Irilbung Police Station in Imphal East district. A pistol, along with a magazine, one round of live .32mm ammunition, and one live round of 7.62 x 30mm AK rifle ammunition were recovered from the individual's possession.
