Inauguration of Potu Prasad Memorial

: The memorial pillar of the late Potu Prasad, a dedicated communist leader who relentlessly fought for the resolution of public issues under the banner of the red flag, was unveiled on Sunday near Aditya Theatre, Bonakal Road, Khammam.

The memorial was inaugurated by CPI National Council Member Shri Bhagam Hemantha Rao.The event commenced with a rally from the Zilla Parishad Center to the memorial site, with participation from CPI leaders, trade union members, and local citizens. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Hemanth Rao stated, “From his student days, Potu Prasad followed a secular and leftist ideology. He believed that struggle was the only path to resolving public issues
