Immediate Caste Census Along with Population Census DemandedTaatipamula Venkata Ramulu

Taatipamula Venkata Ramulu, State President of the BC Rights Protection Committee, has urged the central government to immediately conduct a caste census alongside the population census.

Speaking at a roundtable conference organized by the BC Rights Protection Committee at the CPI office in Balasamudram, Hanamkonda, Ramulu emphasized that budget allocations should be made based on caste population statistics. He also demanded the establishment of a dedicated BC Ministry at the Centre to accelerate the development of backward communities.

Presiding over the meeting, Hanumakonda District President Bathini Sadanandam stressed the need for immediate measures to ensure justice for BCs. As the chief guest, Venkata Ramulu reiterated the demand for 50% reservation for BCs in legislative bodies.
