Empowering Farmers Through Scientific Dairy Farming and Milk Value Addition

A one-day comprehensive training program on “Scientific Dairy Farming and Value Addition to Milk” was successfully conducted on 21st June 2025 at Mallareddyguda village, Shabad Mandal, Rangareddy District, jointly organized by P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, and Seva Spoorthi Foundation.

The training aimed to enhance knowledge and skills among rural farmers, especially women and youth, in adopting scientific dairy practices and exploring opportunities in dairy product value addition.Mr. G. Rathnakar, Project Manager, Seva Spoorthi Foundation, delivered an inspiring talk on “Rural Women Empowerment in Dairy Farming.” He emphasized women's vital role in dairy activities and encouraged them to adopt scientific methods, access government schemes, and build entrepreneurial skills. His session motivated many women to take active roles in dairy-based income generation.
