Blind and Disabled Associations Demand Implementation of RPWD Act, 2016; Challenge Telangana Govt. Over Delay in Appointing Independent Commissioner

In a strong statement issued jointly by the Development & Welfare Association of the Blind (DWAB), Telangana and the All India Confederation of the Blind, Delhi, prominent leaders from the blind and disabled community have expressed serious concerns over the Telangana Government's failure to implement key provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016.
