Another twist in controversial figure Goolam Vawda's death

ALCOHOL bottles and drugs were allegedly found in a hotel room alongside the body of controversial social media figure, Goolam Mohammed Suliman Vawda.
ONE of Goolam's last messages, posted on January 18.
His body was discovered in a hotel room in Sandton on Tuesday.
Police have since opened an inquest 'after a 50-year-old man was found dead in his hotel room in Sandton'.
While investigations about the circumstances leading to his death are underway, new information has come to light indicating that hotel guests reportedly complained over the weekend about loud noises and odd behaviour coming from the room.
More sounds were allegedly heard on Monday evening, but things went quiet after that. Asked to comment on the allegations, Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi insisted that the matter is still under investigation.
