Zwane's wisdom to help Downs to second crown

MAMELODI Sundowns’ captain Themba Zwane has offered to share his pearls of wisdom with his teammates on what it takes to win the continental crown.
Sundowns will play in the CAF Champions League final for the first time in nine years when they face Pyramids over a two-legged contest. The first leg will be hosted at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday (kick-off 3pm), before the second leg is played at the 30 June Stadium a week later.
Sundowns are the favourites going into this clash, having won the crown in 2016 and defeated outgoing champions Al Ahly in the semi-finals in Cairo. Coach Miguel Cardoso is also eager to make up for lost time after losing the final with Espérance last season, while Sundowns have two surviving players from the class of 2016.
Zwane and goalkeeper Denis Onyango were part of the squad that beat Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate in the 2016 final, securing Sundowns’ first - and so far only - African titley.
