Youth hit the right note with the SAPS music programme

YOUTHS from Bellville and Elsies River got the holiday vibe going with music and discipline as part of a special five-day youth programme led by the Western Cape Provincial Police Band.
The initiative held from June 30 to July 4 saw the cops team up with Wisemen of the East to help teach local children how to play music, work together, and build confidence.
During the week-long programme, the children were taken through their paces in a music workshop, where Sergeant Wesley Jansen taught them the basics of playing in harmony.
