Tessa Tullues promises depth, drama on ‘The Mommy Club’

"I think viewers will see it because it is entertaining, glamorous and emotional but it is also very real," she said during an interview with Independent Media Lifestyle.

She added: "People will see the highs and lows of being a modern woman and I believe many will relate to our stories. The mix of personalities in the cast also adds a dynamic element that will keep people engaged."

The Showmax Original is the third offering from the franchise, following the success of the three seasons of The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice.

This latest offering, which has been causing a stir since it premiered last month, chronicles the daily lives of the mothers who are from the Pretoria Afrikaans community.
