Nomadic Stellenbosch geared up for on-fire Arrows
Cape Argus
|October 22, 2025
STELLENBOSCH FC have become nomads again, relocating their home matches to Cape Town, starting with their Betway Premiership encounter today against Lamontville Golden Arrows.
STELLENBOSCH FC host Lamontville Golden Arrows in Cape Town as they juggle domestic and CAF commitments, aiming to climb out of the Betway Premiership relegation zone.

Playing home games away isn't uncharted territory for Stellenbosch. During their debut season in the 2019/20 top flight, they played all their matches away from home due to the absence of suitable venues in Stellenbosch.
Last season was similar, with their home games hosted at Athlone and venues in Durban.
The Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch is being renovated in preparation for the 2026 FISU World University Championship Rugby Sevens next September.
