Facing My Fears is the proud product of Jayson Magooda, hailing from Bishop Lavis. According to Magooda, the book reflects his journey of resilience and transformation, exploring the confrontation of obstacles like poverty and self-doubt. The book speaks of deciding to move forward despite fear and to have courage.
Magooda has over 20 years experience in youth empowerment, with his journey beginning in 1998, leading to the Bishop Lavis Arts and Culture Kids Development Forum in 2002. His education accolades include a Higher Certificate in Community Development, and he is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Community Development at the University of the Western Cape.
