IRANIAN authorities have executed a man convicted of spying for Israel, the judiciary said yesterday, in the first such execution announced since the war broke out.

The war is forcing petrochemical giants in key Asian economies to cut production as the conflict rattles supplies of naphtha, a crude oil-derived component used to make a range of plastic goods.
