Neighbourhoods are set to receive Pride In Place cash boosts

TWO Cambridgeshire neighbourhoods are set to benefit from up to £20 million of government investment. Orton Malborne and Goldhay, and Paston, both in Peterborough, have been selected for the Pride in Place cash boost.

Labour has announced up to £5bn of investment for 339 “overlooked” communities across the UK to spend on boosting high streets, parks and public spaces. It includes 169 neighbourhoods - or Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) to use the official terminology - that will receive £2m a year for 10 years.
