Rovers welcomed back Dammy Nickels into the side as a replacement for the departed Leon Fulianty. Nathan George replaced an injured Oliver Brooks with Dan Hammer returning after a spell out injured. Babacar Camara was given his full debut.
It took Rovers just 70 seconds to stamp their authority on the game when Victor Osobu fed Max Kimpton inside the penalty area and he fired home his fourth goal of the season to give the hosts an early lead.
There was no let up by Eynesbury as the chances came thick and fast; Osobu had a close range shot blocked, Lewis Lynn rippled the side-netting from a free kick and Osobu hooked the ball wide at the back post following a trade mark Hammer long throw-in.
