ROYSTON BOSS TARGETS MATCHES WHERE SIDE CAN TURN FORTUNES AROUND
ROYSTON Town boss Chris Watters believes that his side's "fortunes will turn" after a tough start to their Southern League Premier Central campaign.
The Crows find themselves in the relegation zone after 12 games of the season, with one win, four draws and seven defeats leaving Watters' side on seven points and third from bottom in the division.
Royston have lost their last three games against sides who currently sit first, fifth and sixth in the table, while they host another high-flying team in second-placed Harborough Town this weekend.
After Saturday's encounter at Garden Walk, eight of the Crows' following nine fixtures are against teams who are currently in the bottom half, and Watters is hopeful that his side will have a more favourable league standing by the end of that run of games.
Dissecting his side's season to date, the manager said: "I think naturally nobody wants to be third from bottom, so it's obviously not where we'd like to be.
