U'S BOSS HARRIS DELIGHTED WITH TEAM AFTER HATTERS SUCCESS

- By DANIEL NEWBOULD

NEIL Harris says Cambridge's 3-1 win over League One Luton Town just shows where they are at as a group right now.

The Us reacted well to going a goal behind and swiftly turned it around in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.

Harris analysed: “It was a great response from the players. I thought they scored against the run of play. There were some brilliant individual performances. We scored some really good goals. I think that just shows where we are at as a group at the moment that we comfortably won 3-1 on Saturday in a very different game and we've won comfortably 3-1 against a top League One opponent in the Championship last year.

“The training standards and the culture in the club is thriving because we made changes and every player that stepped in performed to the best of their ability. You see the hunger, the leadership qualities. I can’t praise the players enough for their mentality and attitude. The young players were excellent. I thought it was a really strong night for us as a group.
