Nearly 150 delivery partners of Blinkit, who were part of the two-day strike in Varanasi, have claimed that the quick commerce (qcom) platform had blocked their IDs in the wake of the stir, reinstating only those who signed a pledge not to get involved in such actions in future.

According to the Gig and Platform Service Workers Union (GIPSWU), almost 120 delivery partners have signed these documents and sent video messages to the company, withdrawing their support for the protest.

Queries sent by Business Standard to Blinkit on the matter remained unanswered at the time of going to press.
