Govt: Not planning blanket cancellation of stuck RE projects

The government is not considering blanket cancellation of renewable energy (RE) projects that are awaiting signing of power sale agreements (PSAs) with power distribution companies, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) clarified on Tuesday in response to recent media reports that said projects of 43 Gigawatt (Gw) capacity are facing cancellations.
