NEW figures about dangerous drivers have revealed how safe the roads are where you live.
Home Office figures, from 2022 to 2024, have shown the parts of the country where people should be most aware of reckless motorists.
According to the stats, there were six dangerous driving offences in East Staffordshire during this time that caused a death or serious injury.
It means the area ranks as the 281st most dangerous out of all council areas in the country, with just 10 dangerous driving offences in all, ranking it as a relatively safer area to drive in.
This equates to 10 crimes per 100,000 population, or one offence per 10,029 people.
