Vintage telephones up for auction look set to receive great reception!

COLLECTION OF 1,000 PHONES DATING BACK TO 1930s COULD FETCH £5K

A COLLECTION of about 1,000 telephones is expected to fetch £5,000 at auction next month.

The items span almost a century of telephone design and will be sold at The Lichfield Auction Centre in Fradley Park.

They include iconic models from the 1930s through to the 1980s, continuing into 1990s and 2000s developments in communication.

There are classic Bakelite designs, GPO rotary dial bell-ringers, elegant candlestick telephones and retro Trimphones, plus fun novelty shapes such as a leaping Jaguar mascot and Pepsi drinks machine.
