Treble for Pohe as Crofters see off battling Derby

It’s now nine games unbeaten in Regional 1 North West for the Crofters but they had to dig deep to overcome their neighbours.

“I know the first half was a bit sticky,’ said Burton’s director of rugby Harty Titley.

“We knew that Derby would try to get under our skin a little bit and they did that in the first half.

“We don’t like to admit it but we were rattled a little bit and got in at halftime quite frustrated. I just needed to remind the lads to stay calm and focus on our point of difference as individual players.

“I reminded them about how that was going to impact the team performance and what that would look like on the pitch. That's all I wanted the lads to focus on in the second half.
