Staggies chief says £1m is starting price for Ronan

STRIKER COULD BE ON MOVE AND MAY ON THE RAMS' RADAR
ROSS County chairman Roy MacGregor has told clubs wanting to sign Ronan Hale it will take an offer of at least £1m before they consider the striker’s departure.
Derby County and a number of other Championship clubs have been linked with the 26-year-old Northern Ireland striker, who scored 17 goals in the Scottish Premier League last season.
Despite that impressive tally, he was unable to prevent County from being relegated, putting a number of clubs on notice.
The striker has offered no guarantees that he will still be playing football north of the border next season, which is only likely to spark further speculation.
But MacGregor warned that Hale, or any other Staggies’ stars, would not be leaving on the cheap.
