BEARDED THEORY ON SHORTLIST FOR THREE NATIONAL ACCOLADES

ORGANISERS behind a major music festival are celebrating after it was shortlisted for three national awards.
Bearded Theory, held each May in Catton Park in Walton-on-Trent, has been nominated at the UK Festival Awards for Best Independent Festival, Initiative for Emerging Talent, and Promoter of the Year - the latter recognising Nottingham-based organisers DHP Family.
The winners are due to be announced at an awards ceremony taking place in Manchester on December 2.
Bearded Theory, which takes place over five days during the May Bank Holiday, has grown into one of the UK’s standout independent festivals.
