LOCAL military personnel are being urged to attend an armed forces group session focused on mental health organised the MP for Burton and Uttoxeter.

- By MAIL REPORTER

The session will be hosted by Jacob Collier and will take place this Friday from 10am to 11.30am at Grindhouse Strongman Gym in Tatenhill.

It will provide an opportunity for those currently serving in the Armed Forces, and those who have served in the past, to share stories, connect with others, and discuss the unique challenges faced by those transitioning from service to civilian life.

Mr Collier said: "If you are serving or have served and are struggling with your mental health, I would really encourage you to come along. This is an opportunity to meet like minded people, share experiences, and talk openly about the support that's needed."

The session aims not only to bring service personnel together for mutual support, but also to inform the MP on how the Government can improve its support for veterans.
